  1. THIS is the best Star Trek Episode since voyager ended haha.

The fact that we are not getting a show with the USS Enterprise F as its main center of attention is exactly how out of touch the show runners are from fans.

Your narration on this is so fucking good.

"There is something to be said for life on the frontier. In the span of a single patrol, one might share a meal with a Bajoran Vedek, negotiate with a Ferengi merchant, or exchange stories with a Klingon warrior.

Every assignment is a reminder that the Federation is more than the worlds within its borders. It's the people who choose to understand one another despite their differences.

Serving out here demands patience, curiosity, and no small measure of diplomacy.

But it is in those encounters among so many cultures and species that we are reminded why we wear the uniform.

There are few places in the galaxy where one can learn so much"

wow. THIS is what I want to hear.

  2. Would love to see new series with that ship exploring strange new worlds and boldly going where no one has gone before. In true legacy style and a hint of diversity that always was part of star trek. The CGI and voice-over look and feel so much nicer than todays trek where d.e.i sufficates and take over the entire show

  3. I couldn't concentrate on the stunning visuals after "…following the loss of the U.S.S Defiant…". The re-badged U.S.S Sao Paulo is in the fleet museum in one piece, and was in service well before the Odyssey class was built (after the dominion war), so this time line doesn't make sense. Its a shame really… everything else was just so well done!

  4. The SFX is amazingly done, but I also want to compliment that you gave a very Star Trek like log book entry monologue, too.

The Enterprise F or Odysee class isn't necessarily my favorite, but still a neat little ship and I like how it also is a bit more "voluminious" and bucks the strict streamlining trend you might have expected after moving from Galaxy to Sovereign class.
As a long time STO player, it felt very satisfying to see it canonized on screen, too.
