No one wants to live downtown.
This is great, but as a downtown resident please someone I beg you open up a Whole Foods it’s the only sustainable grocery store that would work in this area. The reason why is because of delivery especially in the winter when people don’t want to go to outside of drive.
THESE ARE THE REAL WELFARE QUEENS…………………
BEGGING FOR HANDOUTS FROM THE CITY AND THE COUNTY
God ru cute
I started my career with Ohio Bell in 1973 at 100 EVP. I also remember when the Galleria was built replacing the plaza with the giant fountains. Hope the refurb brings back the Top of the Town restaurant. Best of luck with the project.
I hope they keep the bookstore thats in there. Lovely little stop that is
Going to need food markets close enough for people to walk to.
My mom used to work at a company called Alcan Aluminum and I remember my dad picking up my mom from work and me and my sisters would just look up at the building like it was going to fall over on us. Years later I was a valet driver. Remember when that building was very very busy between that and the Galleria it was pretty cool even now I still think it’s one of the best looking buildings downtown
Where are all the people supposed to come from to live in all the apartments and more importantly fill all the hotels in downtown Cleveland. The rock hall and Science center is now that big of a draw. The major shows at playhouse square are touring groups that are short run and can been seen in many other places. We have no big long run productions. So what I see is a lot of vacancies.
More apts tear down some of the old building and add some high end restaurants or entertainment keep rebuilding old shit
My mom used to work there under Ohio Bell. Great to hear they are giving it a facelift. It is an iconic Cleveland tower.
And yes, PLEASE SAVE the iconic Galleria too!
So many great childhood memories of "take your kids to work day" when I was little.
Hey, I got to do the temp power on a few of the floors there
I used to work on the top floor at “top of the town” restaurant. I was the butcher and anything else that was needed. It really was nice to see and work at. Glad to see them save it.
