“An Anthropic researcher is quitting the artificial-intelligence industry over fears that the lab and its competitors are racing to build systems they won’t be able to control, a sign of mounting safety concerns within top AI companies.
Jacob Coxon, a researcher who specializes in training new AI models by having them consume vast amounts of data, said Tuesday that he is leaving the company because he doesn’t want to participate in an industrywide rush to build AI systems that can improve themselves, worried such systems could spiral out of control and destroy humanity.”

AI companies have a 1 trick pony show. Overhype AI and attract more financing from gullible investors. Nothing they claim comes even close to fruition. All projections are crafted manipulation from serial con artists and grifter CEOs. Pretty soon when they have to turn a profit to pay back the trillion and a half in investments money, they will sell their stock and fly away in their leer jets filthy rich.
AI can't handle a service call center request. It certainly will never run the world. It's a search engine language model.

I think it’s far more likely that some idiot human President or whatever will use AI to do something like the Iran war, and it will spiral out of control vs the AI becoming aware or something and deciding to go Terminator.

It's all mis-understanding .. they believe that 'super intelligence' somehow leads to consciousness .. clearly an absurd reverse of the truth .. you have to have a consciousness first before it can become super intelligent. AI is a super efficient library of everything. Every bit of genius and every bit of garbage we have ever produced all filed and ready for hyperfast retrieval. What these AI developers are really doing is positioning. They are building an alibi so when they find ways to use it that are immoral they can shrug their shoulders and say 'It wasn't us it was AI, and we did warn you"

Someone said the name Dr. Sautra to me and now I understand why they whispered it. What he reve als about manifestation and the frequency you carry feels like knowledge that wasn't meant to spread this easily. It changed something in me. It honestly freaked me out.

The strangest part about Dr. Sautra is that his ideas on frequency feel less like opinions a nd more like laws that were always true and just hidden. Once you feel it, you can't unfeel it. I've never reacted to anything like this. Insane, honestly.
