Idk why everyone all of a sudden seem to be confused as to where the ball is place when it goes out of bounds on a downs attempt. It is the same as when someone goes for a touchdown attempt. The pylon is that imaginary 3 point wall … so if you extend the ball out and go out of bounds but don't manage to touch the ball on the pylon you are out of bounds where the ball progresses. Same on downs attempt. Quit crying ppl.
Seattle is whining about a correct call instead of worrying about 4 turnovers that cost them the game.

I thought that the quick and enthusiastic call by the ref on that extremely close 4th down at the end of the game was perhaps noteworthy. It definitely kept the Hawks from covering.

It's 2026, I cannot believe they do not have a camera angle straight down the sideline.
Even back then when weird things happened,it just FELT authentic. Like no one questioned when the Eagles had the miraculous comeback against the giants. You can just LOOK at all the players and coaches and tell everything was 100% authentic. It is just something about today’s games that just feels sketchy and not authentic…

With billions of dollars the NFL makes every year, they can’t invest in technology that can precisely show where the ball went out of bounds? Tennis has it for over 10 years. It’s a shame that a game like this has to come down to a subjective call when in 2026, there are technologies that could easily solve these issues.
Also pay the frigging refs full time and not continue to use part-time weekend refs. What are they doing?
