bandung is really nice city known for the windy weather, and friendly people..

when u done with java trip, please consider visit Sumatra also…although the people here is kinda different in context of tribe..here we have Batak and Melayu tribe mostly and the food especially in North Sumatra is well known nationally..and if u ever heard Lake Toba /Berastagi..its also here in North Sumatra 🙂

  3. Hi Janine, I’ve really enjoyed all your west java trip videos, especially Bandung (I’ve been switching between your channel and Rhea’s because its so fun to watch). Thank you for visiting my city. Right now, Bandung might not be perfect yet, even it’s the most romanticized city in Indonesia (because so many romantic movies, love stories, and national musicians with beautiful melodies come from here). but in reality, we still have to deal with urban planning issues, traffic jams, trash, transportation, and other problems. but we’re constantly making improvements now ❤ Hopefully, our government will also work diligently, and hopefully, when you return someday, we’ll be able to show you a more beautiful and comfortable Bandung. Until then, I’ll be looking forward to it. 🥰💕

  4. sometime watch Persib live at the stadium, miss… and don't forget to record the journey from ticket exchange until you arrive at the stadium with your camera, miss.

  5. I think they sold fruits per kg, not per piece. Still kinda pricy tho when it come to individual sellers, try to ask for bargain for better price they're open for that. As far as I know, only durians that was sold per pieces rather than per weight. Also, I recommended you to visit Makmur Jaya Coffee shop rather than Aroma, they sold specialty coffee and various coffee beverages, meanwhile coffee from Aroma smells good but the taste tend to dissipate quickly and lack of notable notes, this due to generalized roasting method that they use because their coffee beans is not come from single farm that would to leads into different water humidities, not so uniform beans size, also probably the beans is older and mixed with a new one.
Anyway, about those street performers, they picked ghost costumes because we Indonesian love horror movies and some ghost are very iconic and scary like pocong and pontianak/kuntilanak. Also, ghost costume are cheaper and easier to make, unlike robots or anime cosplay that cost a lot. Consider early halloween everytime you visit Asia-Africa street.

  6. „O humanity! Fear your Lord, for the ˹violent˺ quaking at the Hour is surely a dreadful thing.“ (Quran 22:1)
O believers, I advise you and myself:
Hold fast together to the rope of Allah and be among the pious, the righteous, and those who do good—there are many different ways to do good. Be steadfast and bear with patience whatever may befall you in life. Place your trust in Allah and be among the pure, truthful, and sincere. Let Allah be your sufficiency and make everything dependent on Him in all that you do. Be merciful, compassionate, kind, and friendly toward one another. Practice self-control and keep away from all that is false, evil, and forbidden, and beware of deceptions, misguidance, distortions, Satan, and his whisperings, and remember that this life is a test of only short duration compared to the eternal Hereafter. Fear Allah, for to Him is the return, and always hope for Allah’s mercy. Remember Allah at every moment in everything you do. Take from this transient world of your gifts—for yourselves, and to the utmost for your Hereafter—and perform good deeds unceasingly. Give charity in the way of Allah in times of plenty and in times of need. I would like to remind you once again of the importance of feeding the needy and encourage you to do so. Pray, fast, give charity, and perform the pilgrimage, and regularly renew your faith by reciting the Shahada, and seek refuge in Allah regularly, especially from the whisperings of Satan. Fulfill the duties imposed upon you, but do not be content merely with fulfilling the obligations of religion; rather, strive to the utmost, perform as many voluntary good deeds as you can, and do your very best in all matters, in the spirit and from the perspective of Islam, for the best possible return in the Hereafter. Take the prophets and the first three generations of Muslims as your role models, for they are the best examples; read their stories, internalize the best of them in all aspects of life, and emulate them as best you can. Always be grateful to Him for everything, in times of prosperity and in times of hardship. Turn to your generous and noble Lord with all your needs in supplication, that He may grant them to you. Enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and invite people to Islam. Acquire the most exemplary, excellent, and noble character traits, purify yourselves, and be an example to people. Reflect deeply on creation, for in it are signs for the believers. Every person is a sinner, so constantly ask your Lord for forgiveness and always repent to Him for your sins. And keep yourselves away from disbelief and associating partners with Allah. Obey Allah and His Messenger, follow the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger, and hold fast to them with determination; and in everything you do, seek Allah’s pleasure. Stand up for justice, be peacemakers, uphold the truth, and make peace among yourselves; suppress your anger and forgive others for their mistakes. Be peaceful protectors and defenders of Islam and the Muslims. Acquire knowledge of Islam in all its aspects, and at best, follow the path of knowledge and become seekers of knowledge. Learn the Arabic language, read the Quran, recite the Quran, reflect on the meanings of its verses, and memorize the Quran. -das32
