Grouse.
You kind of sound like OzGeology or is it just me?
Do you know about the new tram 82 will be working from Moonee Ponds to Footscray
Spotted one on the 59 line , looks fantastic, are they building one size or snaller ones for less busy lines.
Cheers
Just been to sydney… i think our trams are behind the times now.
Looks ugly. It's as if someone from the early 1980's tried to design a 'futuristic tram'. Can't believe they went with this design. Come on, Melbourne, get with the 21st century.
And you’re absolutely on point with your UX suggestion that connecting services should be indicated on the displays where appropriate.
A good looking tram, and great to hear that it was a local design and build. After this many years of tram operation across one of the worlds largest tram networks – I’m surprised that we haven’t been doing this the whole time. Hopefully an export opportunity.
I wish they would start running Low Floor Trams on Route 75 Docklands to Vermont South. They have made a lot of the stops accessible. But those of us with Disabilities, especially people in wheelchairs like me. We still can't use it. It's about time they started running Low Floor Trams on this Route. I'm getting sick of their excuses.
I hope the wood on the seats are not defaced by the vile young criminals we share Melbourne with.
Hmmm.. If it was a test run and you were an invited guest, why did you have to touch on Phillip? That's funny…
They had such a good opportunity to make the seats front-facing only. I haaaate the inward-facing seats, like there is no need for me to be touching knees and looking into the eyes of a stranger like that
Good news. We need more of these trams across the network!! Too many old high step trams need to be replaced. We need to fast track low floor accessibile tram stops, our network is not accessibile enough!
Why are the areas under the seats boxed in. This is valuable floor space for stowage, tucking feet into to improve access for others, improving stability when standing and so on. Why blank it off?
Is it too soon to nickname them yet? Toaster tram or 4 slice toaster tram 😂
Is there a commemorative pin for this that the public can get ?
I hope the give warm air in winter & cool air in summer…… any air is good so people can breathe.
Go Ben hope you do a good job 🙂
The 'half tram' is so upsetting xD but its ok. It's a me problem.
Malcom would like the New G 🚊
Thank you. This was very interesting. I will look forward to a trip on the new trams.
Why do trams have less seating these days
Very professional presentation as always Philip. G Class looks great. I wish they were coming to route 75!
Why is this worse than the Z and A and B classes???
Ah yes just for the rich areas, suits the gay look it has on it.
The wood panels with be burnt in about 2 seconds by ice for brains shiznit heads
Despise them getting rid of open windows, the little e class windows are even enough to help when people are smoking or going number two in the tram
Great video! First time ive seen a tram with not a crack head on it! Brilliant!
I saw this tram today 30 July 2026 on Flemington Road with passengers, as a route 59d
Lovely interior but the front and rear reminding me of🗿
Seeing the other "influencers" in this video 😂😂😂😂
I notice that blind chris was there
Now ….All we need is a reboot of the "Malcolm" movie! hehehe What a classic Aussie movie! It's awesome that we have trams built in Melbourne.
Less than 24 hours later 7006 entered
its really late, they were supposed to roll out the new trams back in late feb, its so delayed
Looks like a snapper ( fish )
That first tram looks like it has a huge chin
