Reminder, a stall can happen at any speed – it's the AoA (angle of attack) that matters. Should also try a stall with flaps those are stomach churning.

Yes, but… stall means flow separation, not only turbulence. Flow over a wing in flight is always turbulent (theoretical exceptions exists).
I wasn t planning to watch this long… no regrets.

If members of the public could elect to do this on purpose it would probably work wonders with people with a fear of flying or just general aviation education.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Purdue University in the U.S., as well as my Airframe and Powerplant certification, and I currently work in Maintenance Engineering for a regional airline. While I had the opportunity back in college to fly a few times in small aircraft, like Cessna and Cirrus, and experience a few of these same maneuvers, it wasn't part of the actual curriculum. So not every student got to have the same physical, butt in pilot seat experiences as I did. And Rob was exactly right, a powerpoint in a classroom can only go so far. Experiencing these maneuvers in flight makes such a difference in your understanding. It would have been amazing to have something like this back in college that every student in the aviation school would be able to experience, not just the student pilots and a few lucky souls like me.
Great video. As a fan of theme parks it's really interesting comparing the way you experience G forces during aerial manoeuvres like these and how you experience them on coasters/flat rides.
When I was learning to fly stalls, my instructor had me let go of the controls completely after the stall broke. The plane (a Piper Tomahawk) went nose down and then, after a short while, leveled out all on its own. He said to me "You see, the plane WANTS to fly. However you'll notice we have lost a thousand feet, so you don't want to do this at nine hundred".
