Triple h is such a mark for shawn he literally stole the "you know" thing from him. Go listen to a hunter interview he even talks the same way as shawn. Shawn was a real star, hunter got lucky being friends with him
WAIT A MINUATE – Shawn Micheals got screwed by Bret not just once but twice! First here in 1990 on SNME getting their tag titles stripped away and returned to the Hart Foundation (aka Bret). Then again @ SummerSlam 1992 when HBK was supposed to beat Bret for the IC champ but Bret begged for Bulldog to get the title shot instead. Dang, shut up "2026 Bret"!

What I want to know is why they have NEVER released the episode going all in on the real life rivalry between Edge and Matt Hardy.

I think Bret really got traumatized by the Montreal screw job and never recovered. Till today he gets emotional talking about it. I always wondered if things worked out differently and he didn't jump shift..imagine the feud with Stone Cold in 98', Kane , Triple H. Bret hated WCW, we won't cry over split milk, but I wish him and Vince reached a compromise to stay in the WWE.

This, to this day, might be the best Documentarie WWE has ever done.
You can tell from the emotion Bret shows that the screwjob was real and not a work. It was not fair for Vince to do what he did to Bret. The fans were robbed of what would have been so many more classic Hitman matches, with Shawn, Austin, 'Taker, and just imagine Bret and Kurt Angle. Vince should have honored Bret's contract and I can almost guarantee that, even though Bret was not keen on the direction, that Bret would have gone along with everything and continued to build his already GOAT legacy and treat the fans to more classics!!

Deep down I think Brett will always resent Shawn a little bit as he got to stay and finish his career very successfully in WWE while Bret went to WCW and ended up injured in a company he never truly wanted to be in.
It always really disappointed me that Shawn didn't say something like "I don't regret that I did it, but I am very sorry for what it did to you" in regards to Montreal. He never really owned up to just how much Montreal affected Bret in a personal way. Whereas HBK just went back to the hotel, popped 5 Somas and passed out comfortably and probably was completely over it 2 days later.
