  1. A lot of people like the phone with a smaller battery because it allows them to stay off their phone more often and be more cautious about your battery cuz if the phone never died, you'd always be on it

  2. For you to say, no one asked for that. No one wants that and everyone wants bigger phones and bigger batteries. No, people do not want bricks in their pockets. I'll take a super thin super light foam over a brick any day with less battery … And it's never going to affect me cuz if I'm home I can charge it. If I'm at work I can charge it. If I'm in my car I can charge it and keep it full and when I'm out and about it's never for longer than a few hours. Then I'm either back in my car back at home or back at work. There's no battery anxiety but you get a flagship powerhouse great screen sound battery camera processor The five pillars and super thin super light.. waterproof wireless charging super durable titanium what's the problem?

  3. 1 yr later. I love my Edge. It's fun I dont miss a telephoto camera. Battery is great no issues because battery packs exist. For my mobile photography I have my vivo X300 Pro

  4. I would've got one these if it had a pen magically shoved in it. I like thin phones, and i dont use cases so I get to enjoy the thinness. I dont care if it breaks I'm not broke. For some reason it was more expensive than an iphone in germany so main reason i didnt get it. I would love to find a used one for a backup phone for my fold 8 if i accidentally break it.

  5. I ordered the S25 Edge yesterday for €525. For that price, there’s no other phone that even comes close to offering that kind of performance for the money. For 500 euros, I can buy a good mid-range device. I don’t have the Edge’s amazing display, the 256 GB of storage or the 12 GB of RAM. Yes, it has a smaller battery, but I’m coming from an iPhone 12 with a 2,900 mAh battery, and I get through the day just fine—I still have 85% battery capacity after about 5 years. To be honest, I don’t understand what you guys do with your phones all day that you need so much battery life. Sure, having a bit of extra battery life is always nice, but just like with the camera, it’s really just a luxury that—if we’re being honest—we don’t need. I want a phone that’ll keep me happy for 5–6 years, and I was originally planning to buy an iPhone 17 or 17 Pro, but honestly, at that price, I’d be crazy not to buy the S25 Edge. And after about 15 years with Apple, I’m looking forward to trying something different. And even if (which I don't think will happen) I have to replace the battery after 3–4 years—oh My God, I have two healthy hands and a brain—I'll just replace it myself.

  6. Not a fan of Samsung after using them for so many years, but I am here:
I like this design as a little too big, 6.3 or 6.4 is what I would get, it's thin and I like it, it will overheat and I dislike it, the camera and most Samsung phones suck compared to any IPhone, but then I like the iPhone air more, but I don't like ios and the battery is too small, then I would look into buying a less known brands but their prices are so close to a branded phone or even exceeding…
The phone trend is so fucked up as I'm just gonna keep using my smashed phone until it literally catches fire!
Every new phone upgrades is just a bit better camera software.

  7. To be completely honest, there is no good reason for this epidemic of thin phones other than simple corporate greed. These companies are focused on squeezing out as much profit as possible, so they bump up their prices without any real justification. Their whole game plan seems to be making the phone slightly thinner, just so they can use that as an excuse to charge more money. Most people do not seem to realise this is a trick. They end up ignoring the obvious and spending way too much cash, genuinely believing they are buying a top-tier device. In reality, they are just paying a premium for a product that is actually worse in almost every way.

  8. It is currently the same price for the 25 edge 512gb and the 25+ 256gb, i wanted to switch my phone mostly because of batery and camera. The 3900mah got me worried and now im wondering if it is worth the double storage

  9. I strongly disagree with the premise. I want thinner and smaller phones. I want the iPhone Air thickness with the base iPhone 17 width and height. I don't need to 12h of battery life, most people have a life and don't spend that much time on their phones these days.

  10. I had the S25 Ultra, it was like a clunky brick. We really need thinner phones now. But they also need to fix the battery issue. This series definitely needs to continue by improving it…
