$30 Credit is laughable… and their trade-ins are an insult. You can normally get $500 more within 24 hours on ebay than with one of their insulting trade-in prices. $30… seriously? I think I will hold onto my Zfold7. I have only ever opened it a dozen times anyway and half of those were to show someone else who asked me to. They purposely drip feed us small advances… time to start holding out until they give us something that is a MAJOR upgrade. The only thing I am looking forward to phone-wise in the next 12 months is the new Android OS and Android Auto updates… which I will get on the fold7 anyway for free.

The reason you don't need much of the Fold Ultra is that it's the same form factor as the last two years, thus many even already have something similar or will buy the old one for cheaper…. the new form factor wasn't available before, thus the need to make a lot… not because it will be better.
Everyone wanted a wider model, Samsung just refused to listen.
People have been saying we need a face screen that can be used heavily, but no they keep giving you something you can use with 1 hand , why are you enabling texting and driving, making the phone wider will force people to use 2 hands its only logical, but my pocket shouldn't be putting a phone near your junk anyway.

I wish samsung would understand that those of us who have had folds from the beginning don't care about the thickness or the weight or the crease. We want the S pen. We want a good battery, we want a great camera. This making it so thin is a piece of garbage is insanity. I'm still using my fold 6 since they didn't listen last year. And since motorola came out with a big fold, that uses a pen, and has a 6000mah battery, we know it can be done. If motorola customer service didn't suck so bad I would already have one. Samsung!! Listen to your loyal customers and stop listening to the people who don't use the fold as intended!! It's half a tablet. IT NEEDS A PEN!

The narrow outsidescreen was the reason why i chose pixel over samsung. Its to narrow and not usable at all….
I think the fact that there have not been significant changes to Samsung's fold in several iterations is what will sell the wider model. No matter how good the traditional format is, people get bored with the same old thing.
