Amazing that immature older people are attacking this activity! As an alcoholic myself, who wishes I could quit drinking, I say this is a GREAT thing! First, they save a ton of money and could spend their money on better things. Second, they will work harder, workout more, eat better, and feel better all the way around. I hope it catches on more. It is better for everyone.

Folks in general are drinking a lot less these days and definitely smoking cigarettes less. Problem is police departments across the nation are increasing their quotas for DUI arrests, not necessarily convictions. Which has led to a rise in false DUI arrests across the nation. Added to the fact when folks go out and drink, they tend to take Uber home.
Not what I was expecting when I heard "wellness darties". It's good to take interest in self-care and ditching alcohol (personally, I only drank twice and haven't in about a decade), but moderation is key
