I am 66 and I have never showered in my entire life.
The daily ablutions is a ritual across many animals, including rock doves, who are colloquially known as feral pigeons, and share the same practices of hygene. Perfume, however, is not a personal favorite of mine to the olfactory senses.

As a man, I hate overpowering perfumes not because of my gender, but because it has caused migraines in the past, so I just stick to the ones I like, such as Blue Stratos Original. Showering is a customary thing, but to avoid health issues, I would suggest showering at least once a week, if not twice, but not everyday. I suppose the same can be said about animals as well, such as farmyard animals and pets, both of which dislike overpowering smells as well, so I tend to just use very basic smells and let nature take its course. It probably does disrupt pheromones, we are still animals after all, by natural instinct, men still need to showcase prowess so I heavy smell that is of potency (like a natural non-disgusting body odour) would naturally attract women, since that’s what it’s naturally designed to do. Even pets like my labrador dislikes certain smells, I’ve noticed that.
This is rubbish. I don't know anybody who does this. And women, please don't stop wearing perfume. Guys love it.

I'm Gen X and European. Never having a shower? So these young men will likely present themselves as bums – like Eddie Murphy in Trading Places?
I think these young men are spending much too much time online. I think these boys should spend a little more time outside and at the company of women. But that is perhaps why they fail at that.
Any women that I know likes a man that are well behaved and well scrubbed.
I dont believe in pheromones, I think its marketing hyperbole, otherwise looks wouldn't matter
The comedy series Bottom did an episode on this theme yonks ago, with a pheromone spray that’s meant to make one “irresistible”

I'm Gen X, not Gen Z. But I think the "endocrine disruptor" theory ignores the fact that men, at least speaking from personal experience, and probably women, too, find pleasant scents attractive in the same way we are drawn to good food or enjoying the scent of cedars or hemlocks in the forest or taking a big whiff of a new car interior or new leather boots. I think women may be mistaken as to what scents attract men. I'm personally kind of put off by strong aromas of rose or lavender, which seem to be popular in perfumes. But I like lilac or vanilla or bergamot, for example. But honestly, if a woman smelled like prosciutto and garlic, or butterscotch and black walnut, or jet fuel and gunpowder, I'd find that much more attractive than both certain perfumes and body odor.
😂I would agree don't overdose the aftershave and perfume but please don't have B.O.!
