Google just wrapped one of its biggest keynotes of the year Google I/O 2026 and the company is all in on AI. Announcements included a new family of their Gemini 3.5 AI model which will add personalized AI in a whole suite of systems. Starting today, Gemini 3.5 Flash will be the default model for the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search and agent-first coding. Alongside Gemini 3.5, Google is launching Gemini Omni, a new AI generation tool which the company says can “create anything with any input” and Gemini Spark which is a new 24/7 AI agent that can write emails, create study guides and look out for fees. Plus, an updated look at its Project Aura smart glasses. Here’s everything you missed.

So many spinoffs from Gemini
it's so boring
WOW
Using apple 11:50 😂😂🤣🤣
Hooray! Nothing means anything anymore. Everything I see or hear from anybody else was just prompted into existence without any care or thoughtfulness. And why bother to double-check any of it? We'll just trust that whatever was vomited into the world was good enough to get the fleeting ADHD thought across. But would I like to buy an overpriced coffee along my way to irrelevance? Sure would!
I have questions guys the young generation is really fed up about GAFA do you have the same in your country ? Wen you talk with young Generation they said they don't want to used what their grand father and grand mother are using presently. Do you have the same in your countries guys?
Wow just wow!! Super excited for the future
More solving problems that don't exist for the average human.
It will do long task talking continue 10 to 15 talking and progressive to process
So…. Minus the ability to update / improve themselves, this was most of the exact same abilities that open source harnesses like PI or Hermes can give you, but Google owns and controls everything and you can't modify the tools to fit yourself.
The problem here is people cannot figure out how all these will convert to a tangible product that will be useful for a everyday user.
29:00 surveillance. Call it what it is.
The comments here are too funny
This video is a declaration that Google is no longer a search engine company, but an artificial intelligence company.
Folks… we've reached the event horizon. It's over. This was the most boring Google I/O ever.
Meanwhile google maps redirected me to completely pitch dark forest just to save 10km of highway.
Useless and unnecessary feature, no one need so many information in life.
Just Use Bing Ngl Thats The Underdog 🤷🏾♂️.
Wtf is all this
Braindead ai haters mad that AI is shown at a tech reveal in 2026
I am a student graduading in 2 month in animation, i studied for 4 years, made a portfolio using all kinds of methods (hand-drawn on paper, pixelation, claymation) and my parents payed for my education and i saw this and cried 4:33
I'm tired of saying Hey, Google…Hey, Gemini…Hey, Siri…
Why can't I give it a personal name to call it if it's so smart…
This whole
Presentation feels like AI.
AI will make us good "Beautiful Liars" – (Shakira and Beyonce)
Pichal is the digital equivalent of a book seller that burns libraries to the ground to drive business.
This is cool but why so many different products and names? Bundle it all into one Gemini.
Just about every new feature of AI is talking to it and letting it do the rest! You don't have to do anything!
Yesterday while driving, I asked Gemini "whats the hours for Walgreens". There is a Walgreens on the same road in the direction I am heading, in a mile. It said "sorry, I don't understand". I tried "what are hours for Walgreens", "what are the hours for the Walgreens store", and "what are the hours for Walgreens store near me". Everytime I got the same answer, "Sorry, I don't understand". I can see on the display it interpreted me correctly everytime but still didnt understand. I then had to ask "what are the hours for the walgreens store at the corner of road A and road B" and then it finally gave me the answer I want.
If I open a google search on my laptop and seach "whats the hours for walgreens" it shows the one closest to me and lists the time underneath the location. There isn't an AI summary but at least it knows which Walgreens loaction I probably want information for. The worst part is I could have sworn Google Assistant could answer this question for me but Gemini can't.
6:03 😂😂😂😂
This is pushing me to de-Google-fy my life as soon as possible.
