Grape flavor is spooky

This is a giant container of methyl anthranilate, which is a really common grape flavor. It’s a slightly yellow oil, and it’s used to flavor a lot of things like candy or soda. It’s most famously used to flavor grape Kool-Aid, but what I think is the coolest thing about it, is what it does under UV light. It fluoresces a really nice blue color, and it looks really cool when it’s added to water.

  1. Can we just eat food that Gods green Earth made. Idk why we think that adding random chems into our food has little to no effect. It does we just havent figured out how cause of lobbies pushing the laws in their favor.

  2. If you've never have "real grapes" I strongly recommend going to a farm that grows them. I'm upstate New York I grew up east real grapes. There nothing like grocery store grapes. Thick sour skins, gelatinous inners with a few seeds sprinkled throughout. Stupendous flavor
