Another big GTA leak has just happened and this time we get a look at how Liberty City was meant to be massively expanded as a DLC in GTA V. This DLC was likely cancelled because Rockstar wanted to use it in GTA VI instead.

All I see is hate for gta online, have any of you ever considered it might be a little ambitious to have 2 huge maps loaded in at once, or just to make a whole new map nearly the size of Los santos? I can assure you all it’s not gta online fault, they’re still making slop dlcs for it while working on gta 6.

I'm not sure who is worse, shark card lame gamers, or the scum bag marketing person who came up with the SC idea? All those lame gamers had to do, was play the game and make the money, it didn't take long. A few big heists, a handful of decent businesses and a little time playing!

1:01 I feel like they shouldve widened or expanded Algonquin a bit. I know every thing really isnt to scale but it seemed relatively fast/easy to go from one side to the other(east-west) 4 or at least 2 more North-South streets on either side all the way up and down. So it it pretty much gives every neighborhood/district more
This has me feeling it's more likely we'll see Liberty City in GTA VI in some form, either as a map expansion or a limited mission area. The only way I'll ever pay for GTA+ is if Rockstar starts taking DLC and expansions seriously. Online still feels so amateur compared to everything else.

“This is why I hate GTA online” if they had released this with GTA V as a story mode DLC, then they would have delayed time and waste resources on as opposed to working on RDR2 and GTA6. The team that works on GTAO is smaller and separate from the team working on GTA6. That’s why they’ve released 2 DLCs per year every year even when RDR2 and GTA6 were in development. They also would have pushed the release dates up for GTA6 and the game wouldn’t look nearly as good as it does now.

The gta online kills the expansion of GTA universe, when the rockstar made billions with online gta not demanding a new gta title every 3-4 years but we will waiting untill 2036-2038 for the next title gta7

Considering they had their hands full in RDR2 and GTA 6 was already in pre-production, there was no time and resources to make such a huge DLC. But I still wish we would've get a Guarma DLC for RDR2. I still can't get over with what we've been robbed of.
So we have East Island as Long Island, "Cape Cod" at the top of the map, possibly a representation Aquidneck Island (RI), assuming north of Bohan would be based on upstate NY mixed with Rhode Island and Massachussets. Slim to average odds that "Boston" or Bullworth could be making an appearance at some point.
Just Fuck over as much as you can T2 and Rockstar, period.
