  2. March 16, 2026. I met a girl in high school; she suddenly captured my heart—it was like love at first sight. As the days went by, we became friends. We both knew we liked each other, but neither of us dared to say it out loud. We exchanged letters and gifts; she had won my heart so completely that I dedicated this song to her without her knowing. Every time I hear it, I think of her and her love. Months passed, and my birthday arrived. She brought me a bouquet of flowers and a letter. I was dying of nerves and the love I felt for her—what I felt was beyond imagination. I remember the letter said she loved me very much and that I was the best thing that had ever happened to her. A few days later, I couldn't hold it in anymore and told her everything… I told her how much I loved her and that I would always be there for her. Without thinking about the future, I poured out all the love I felt; she told me she loved me too, and we were so happy. But then she started changing abruptly; I felt like she didn't want me anymore and was pushing me aside for her friends. I spoke to her about it, and she suggested we break up. When I read that, it hurt to my very soul; I never thought that would happen. A few days went by, and it turned out I was wrong—she still loved me. Since I still loved her too, we got back together, but the same story repeated itself. I had to break up with her because I felt she didn't want me anymore, and she said okay. I was in a really bad place during those days, and so was she—partly because of an alleged "betrayal" involving me and her friend, though that wasn't the case; I still loved her and would never have done such a thing. Weeks passed, and we both knew we still cared for each other. I suggested we start over from scratch, but she said she needed to think about it… I waited, and later I brought the subject up again; she told me it would be best if we were just friends. I had to pretend to accept her decision—even though I felt the exact opposite and was still in love with her. Before that, I had started getting to know someone else, but I walked away from that person because I was still in love with her—and I always will be. Despite everything, she will always be my beautiful love, my gorgeous girl, my "Sweet Child O' Mine."
