I took one of Vietnam’s most scenic train journeys — 17 hours from Hanoi to Da Nang aboard the LOTUS luxury sleeper train! 🇻🇳🚂
Instead of taking a bus or flying, I decided to upgrade my journey and experience Vietnam by train. From passing straight through Hanoi’s famous Train Street to waking up alongside the incredible Hai Van Pass, this was SUCH a cool way to travel through Vietnam.
The LOTUS train was clean, comfortable and surprisingly luxurious, with a spacious sleeper cabin, comfortable beds, snacks and drinks delivered straight to the door, and breakfast included. And honestly… I had some of the best sleep I’ve ever had on overnight transport!
If you’re travelling from Hanoi to Da Nang, I’d definitely recommend upgrading to the luxury sleeper experience — especially for such a long journey.

I caught this train and was surprised I didn't have to pay £150 to sit on my suitcase next to the toilets for four hours, like here in Britain 🤭 What an adventure! 🙌🌟☺️
