Fortunately, at this hour it appears that nothing substantial is going to happen to Oahu. Lowell will not pass completely for another hour or two but there is no rain and no wind. I hope this means the effects on Kauai are not terrible; the radar shows the rainfall there is only light to moderate.
This the 3rd major storm they’ve seen in the last month. El Niño is doing its thing in a big way this year…
