Harder for Ace more than being shot and losing his leg will be the day the handler goes back to work without him. Retired police dogs don't respond well to that.
In another segment he was saved by some incredible surgeon who had to amputate his leg ( I cried so much god that is what we need now) and Ace walked away like the incredible dog he is and watch the incredible salute he got from co workers.
10 Tampa Bay News needs to request all available dashcam and audio logs. Sheriff Grady Judd famously refuses to equip Polk County deputies with body cams, so we have to demand every piece of recorded evidence to get the full story.
