Just started my first day of treatment yesterday and like what many others have said, my mouth is definitely trying to adjust with the new environment (physical feel of trays, the tongue lisp, pulling on the teeth) but i know these are shot lived and ill adapt to them soon. Let’s get clear they ARE braces. They cost as much and take as long as braces depending on how bad your teeth are and how compliant you are with treatment. Must stay on 22hrs a day. They hurt some ppl just like braces. You have to brush and floss often just like braces. You have tooth colored brackets placed. Some ppl have 6 on each side to hold them in place others have 16. It depends on how much movement you need. They simply give you the option to take them off. You will sleep with a retainer at night for the rest of your life to keep them straight & prevent regression. They give you a lisp, dry mouth, dry lips, mouth sores like braces until your mouth adjusts to them. Again they are braces
I have invisalign it is my first day with another pack of aligners but still it is very good,
