I'm kinda glad that I've only seen the first season, when it originally aired. It's something incredible to look forward to when I can finally take the time and relax. Plus, I'm the kind of person who has never once been bothered by spoilers. Surprises and tension aren't very good for my particular constitution, so I have to moderate that kind of thing. I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of it.
Another great episode, Adam. I agree that this was one of the best moments in television. Superb writing. I'm surprised anyone would interpret Walt's call as anything but a ploy. That seemed rather important to the plot to me.
what a fantastic actor Anna gunn is. on my first watch through her character annoyed me but as i grew older and and rewatched the show again and again i came away with such an appreciation for skyler but more than anything Anna gunn she does not get enough flowers for her performance world class actress imo
Unlike many people, I knew Walt was the bad guy by season one.
Ozymandias was the inspiration for my own tale the Dark Lord. Funnily enough the titular Dark Lord is the same age as Bryan Cranston today.

5:40 I never thought for a second Walt was apologizing. In fact, after one of my rewatches of "The Fly, I'd predicted just this, that he would brag about it in a totally hubristic manner at some point.
I never got the Skyler hate, and sure didn't want her to eat any ricin.

I am suprised that people felt that way about Skyler. Her arc showed she was far smarter than she seemed in the beginning, and she had story lines that kept up with Walter. I felt really bad for her when she was turned against in her own home too. She was a fighter.
The only thing that bothered me about the series was that these two people were way too smart to be living their meager life in the first place.
It was such a tough episode to watch…
