i use a screw driver and count the turns lol
That’s why I go intergraded f all that. That can take hours lol
What kind of rim is that?
That only works with a new rim. With a bent Rim, you tension your spokes and next thing you know you have radial issue. My trick for rebuild: cut spokes that cross by pairs, replace them, tension them so the wheel keeps trued all the time. Wheel rebuilt in 20min with same truing than the original one.

I thought it was hard to do it. if you have the right tools, 20-30 minutes you will be able to figure it out how to do it. but need a lot of patience to get better with this.

A set of two dial indicators for machinists will help you true them up with ridiculous accuracy compared to those simple ungraduated visual gages

I'm gonna tell you right now, it's easier to pay some to do this. Wheel building and balancing is an art of time and patience. And your fingers will hurt. It they ask for 100$ just give it to them and don't complain.

Years ago I found one of those and couldn't find anybody that knew what it was, but now I knew.
But when I twist the nipple a couple of times, water comes out
I can barely strap the Velcro down correctly on my shoes…
You have to be a magician to be able to work with spokes.
