The steering wheel on all cars turns 1 1/2 revolutions in each direction. For most right turns, you’re going to turn the steering wheel approximately one revolution. For left turns, it will be 1/3 to 1/2 a turn. And for most curves, it will be less than 1/4 of a turn of the steering wheel.

My 30 years experience taught me to make almost one turn with one hand – second hand just fixing position. For such turning hands must be at 7 and 5 hours. The more you cross hands the closer you are to the chaos.

75% of my turns feel fine. But the 25% feels so you comfortable and weird and I turn. Especially sharp corners and doing hand to hand.

Some cars like the infinity i35 just can't turn as much it stops at a point where other cars can continue to turn its steering wheel. Idk why.

when you intend to explain with deminstrateion make sure to demonstarte steering rotation in slow motion. Otherwise you confuse people more than you teach
I assume this is for student drivers? Why not just take them to a parking lot have them make a few turns so they understand how the car behaves and be done with it. Instead of making them worry if they've turned the steering wheel the proper amount.
This depends on what car you are driving and the sharpness of your corner. Ik some older cars where you can turn the steering wheel a lot before anything actually happens. Don't think about how much to turn a steering wheel, just look into the turn and steer into the turn, with practice you start to naturally turn just the right amount.
