  1. Excellent follow-up story. Thanks so much for going into the detail. The training these great people do to save our Police dogs is nothing short of extraordinary. 🙂

  2. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all that helped to save Officer Ace. He deserves steaks, treats, pup cups, toys n belly rubs.
Officer Ace I send ❤🙏🏻🤗🫶🏻 🩵 to you n your family

  3. I can't imagine why a service like this would be laughed at, these K9s deserve just as much medical care as anyone else. I'm just glad this guy is going to be okay although unfortunate that he had to have his leg amputated but dogs are resilient. God bless the first responders who are providing this care.

  4. Thank You for looking After this Cute K9. Wow you saved his life it’s simply the Best.
May he have Years going for those Balls in the river ocean, Pup cups or just being Happy.😊 ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🍀🌼⭐️❤️🦮

  5. I’m so relieved that Deputy Ace is recovering. I’m heartbroken that he lost a leg, but I pray he will adapt and live a happy life. Thank you for providing the helicopter that helped save his life. You are all heroes. I’m Japanese, and I have the deepest respect for K9s. After learning about Ace’s story, I’m going to donate to an organization that supports K9 medical care and lifesaving efforts. Sadly, in Japan, police dogs are legally treated as property.

  6. Whoever came up with this idea at Tampa Bay General was a damned genius. They couldn't buy this kind of good press for millions, and it only cost them a flight.

  7. Cops shoot over 10,000 dogs yearly and 15 to 30 K9's are killed annually. Don't let cops near any dogs, ever. K9's die from being shot and being left in hot patrol cars. Can't even take care of a dog.

  8. Gov. De Santis did a great thing, changing laws so that injured Law Enforcement Canines can be transported in these special helicopters, and at no cost to the law enforcement agencies…this, no doubt, saved K-9 Ace's life.

  9. Good job to the officer and vet that stabilized the dog and actually saved him. Good job to the flight crew for getting him to definitive care.
