It's interesting how that works. I've had no more interest in all those paid services. Simply connected a mini pc to my tv. Still watch YouTube with uBlock of course or use my computer. If you really want you can watch Netflix and most others also online. A pc just gives you endless options.
You can also install apps with this on your Samsung tizen TV apps you won't find on tv otherwise. Like I installed Moonlight game streaming for example with claude code.

thing is, if samsung provided that exact ui to customers, IMO i think there is a very high chance that people would say something along the lines of "this is not worthy of x amount of dollars, this feel too cheap and is not high quality". I am sure that tv companies have a dedicated UI team to conduct research regarding the "optimal" ui for their products. Some may find that they actually prefer the original ui over this one, albeit it has ads and is bloated which can obviously be solved as shown in the video, but my point is, just because its different doesn't mean its better, its subjectively improved. But thank you nonetheless for the video and the simple demonstration. thumbs up.

Ever since my 2023 Samsung TV updated it has been very slow as well. My specific issue is that I used to be able to open Spotify and just press play and it would start the tv up and play music through the speakers, but now the option does not work. I have to get up, turn the tv on and open Spotify now (yeah I’m lazy). Would this fix solve my issue?

On my Samsung, pressing the Home button triggers its native floating menu, and I can't remove it. I was able to customize launcher though but home button on remote controller was impossible to link.
