I do really wish Smug was winning things again, this guy makes playing these games so much fun, love his energy. Only guy I didn’t get to saw hi to at the first Evo I went to. But that’s alright. G is so funny, I would’ve played him more but my pathetic hands couldn’t cancel lights into dp motions, I can do it now, I don’t want anyone to make fun of me. I do hope he comes back, he talks good, he plays good, and his design is good, what’s not to love. Shame V-Shift game out and made him not very good anymore. Sfv has some of the best new characters in the series.
G was definitely my favourite new character in SFV, and unlike that game which had one rank per player (reason #615382 why I hate that game), I'd actually play him seriously in SF6 since I wouldn't have to worry about losing rank from my other characters playing him!

Very great work on this video, it's nice to see him being brought up even today. For such a wonderful character with so much depth, I'm kinda sad that he was so rare in competitive play. It's great to be reminded of the beauty of 2-2 G and how G had the privilege of picking both of his vskill and vtrigger for the matchup.

I really like to saw how SMUG plays G on his videos. If you want to see how hard to deal with 2-2 G, look at SMUG video "I'm Sorry Zangief". His opponent just can't touch him and because of V-skill protection, he save his buff after knockdown.
