For me as an audiologist, this may be the most exciting improvement of them all because better feedback management can help us provide more high-frequency amplification and get closer to prescriptive targets.

They're going to have to be a quantum level better than Phonak Eon Sphere or Signia Pure C&G MaX, both of which support Bluetooth Classic. I don't want to watch a movie on my phone when I can watch it on my laptop and have my hearing aids connect to the laptop.

I was just fitted with the Oticon Reveal 2 at 1:15 pm today. So far so good.
Can Oticon's DNN compete with Phonak's? Are they both equally good at speaking in noise?
Oticon beat Signia MaX by a week with dual AI. MaX doubled the number of independent AI processing technologies to four. The Wind noise stabiliser upgrade looks impressive.

Is this good news for reverse slope hearing loss ? ie low frequency loss bad and high frequency pretty not as much !!
Thanks, Dr Cliff, this was a great concise and impactful summary! I've been wearing Oticon Intents (with a custom silicon ear mold) and have been quite happy. The biggest issues I have are bike riding wind noise – and it looks like these new Reveals can help! – and the occlusion effect, which of course they cannot impact directly. However (and this gets to my question!) it seems like given all of the new technology and improvements with the Reveals, I might be able to go with an open dome and get 'similar' hearing improvements as I have now with the Intents without the occlusion affects? I'm pretty close now to the maximal vent size with my silicon ear molds. Anyway thanks again for this great info!
I have SSD and very excited to try the new Oticon Reveal and Phonak's new EON BiCROS platforms. I have moderate HF loss in my hearing ear and will focus on the comparison between them. Great job Cliff with bringing all these new changes to your community.
Where is the Signia MaX review?!
Profound hearing loss user with the high frequencies gone. Pick up the Phonak Eon's today. Then I see this video about the Oticon handling of high frequency loss. Oticon's improved Android phone connectivity is a plus.
