I Was WRONG, Got SCAMMED & The Arctic STORMED HARD! Surviving Heavy Rain Storm – Solo Nomad Van Life

In this full time van life nomad episode the arctic storms return with heavy rain and massive waves on the ocean as I get cozy camping in my warm van. But first me and my friends hike the incredible Reinebringen. This is the most touristy but also the most spectacular hike in Lofoten. People do slip and die here every year though, its a hard and very exposed hike, by the Sherpa stairs make it doable.
We go to a place that we got recommended and get scammed, more about that in the video. But be warned!

I then head through a massive wind and rain storm past the huge waves swelling in from the south east and to my new favorite place to camp in Lofoten, where I make taco pancakes as another rain storm starts building.
I have learned a lesson, and have to admit I have been wrong!

This is pure cinematic freedom in a van, nomad life alone always off-grid and in search of new arctic adventures camping in my cozy van.

Includes 20 minutes of pure storm and heavy rain ASMR

This summer has been pure storm mayhem, rain rain rain, and hurricanes with massive waves and fierce waves, but the story continues!

Arctic summer rain storms and severe low-pressure systems are primarily called Arctic cyclones or Intense Summer Arctic Cyclones, sometimes also a European Monsoon (more commonly known as the return of the westerlies)

This is Arctic Life in a van, pure van living off-grid, alone in solitude and freedom. 2 hours of remote Norwegian Xplorer summer van living.

My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Hakkapalitta studless Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in America – USA and Canada.

  2. Another brilliant and breathtaking episode from Jarl. How long did it take to hike to the top of the mountain ? I found myself closing one eye when you showed how close people were to the edge 🫣

  3. Amazing view!!! thanks for sharing with us Jarl! greetings from Greece!! u should visit us here some time ! i ll be in Norway probably end of October or November! take care!

  4. Our very first time up the coast in Norway on an NCL ship, we took the side trip to Nusfjord. About the only thing open was Caroline's and a small gift shop. Nusfjord has really changed and become even more of a tourist trap. Definitely not like the real Norway we have visited many more times and grown to love even more. Thanks for the rememberance, Jarl.
