An off duty state trooper and armed civilian still could not prevent a shooter from killing three people and wounded seven others. All the firearms in the U.S. population and still mass shootings can not be prevented. It appears that all those firearms are not making us safer. It appears that making it easy for civilians to obtain highly lethal firearms is causing us to be at greater risk.
