I do wanna say. Yall do not have to buy s new iphone every few years. I always ised older iphones (6,6s,8) and only updated to 13 mini and or iphone SE 2023 for a better camera. They all still work and the newer phones still run smoothly with updates.
As someone who has used a lot of devices and who currently uses iphone and android with ONE SIM card, iphone just works. Its something people will value if you have a turmoil filled and/or busy life. Iphone and samsung are very limited nowadays regardless though.. so i use both to gave the flexibility of android and the stability if apple.
I wont blame anyone for using apple strictly when android cant even make sure i get my text messages.
Genuinely feels like Apple users are living in another universe at this point. I've never had an iPhone and it sounds like I dodged a bullet.

you also can’t use an apple watch with out an iphone, you are tied to the ecosystem when you go in, it’s so hard to leave, i want to leave but i gotta keep my imessage facetime and facetime audio find my and my apple watch. but you can get some features on blue bubbles if you have a mac for free on an android to avoid blue bubbles and still get facetime calls, im tempted to get 2 phone plans to have both lol
im the only android user in a completely iphone family, the only one who stood with me was my grandmother (rip) but other than that ive held strong on an island of my own

I’ve been having this crisis for a couple of years now. I want that Samsung fold SO BAD. My wife has a Samsung, so I’m already accustomed to texting her and I’m not quite as annoyed by the green texts. I’ve also been flirting with PCs for a minute now, because I need a desktop and I’d love to be able to game on it. And yet, I’ve been sitting on my hands this whole time because, well, I have an iPad and an iPhone and I like the ecosystem and I like the community software – I love iMessage and I love FaceTime. I want that smooth communication and secure software and app services. I’ve had an iPhone since 2008. I drank the koolaid a long time ago and it had something in it that I can’t shake off. I hate it, and I’m not glad I’m not alone I wish none of us were stuck in this illusion of scarcity.

I think a lot of top brands utilize a kind of myth making to provide customers satisfaction with their purchases. The more they do the myth making the more cult like it seems. Only clowns believe the bubble colour of their sms matters.
