After more than a decade of farming and building our 16-acre homestead in East Tennessee, we’ve officially sold the property and relocated to South Korea. In this video, I’m sharing the full story behind why we made this massive decision and what this transition means for our family moving forward. I'm excited to see you looking around Korea. I would love to see more of that. God bless you on your new adventures you and your wife.
I have watched and loved your channel for years and will continue to watch and am so excited to see where life takes you and your wife!
I honestly can't understand spending so much time and energy making a few acres of land completely regenerative and natural just to sell it a few years later and move into a city apartment. I'm not a farmer, but I grew up in New Yotk city but now live in the suburbs on long island where I grow food on a six thousand square foot growing area using korean natural farming and biodynamic methods. I can't even imagine thinking of going back to living in a city apartment but good luck to you.
Oh no!!!!! You are leaving all of that, and all of your work and accomplishments for a homesick wife??? Ok, I hope it tirns out to be all you hoped for, but really sad to see you and your movememt and following go dormant 😥
best of luck Steven! Look forward to your future agric content in the region
Interesting! I'm also a young regen ag farmer native to Korea. The concept is mostly unheard of and there are lots and lots of regulations regarding livestock rearing here. Hope you find a nice place to settle down eventually and be mindful of livestock restriction zone if you want to keep raising livestock. And if you haven't looked up the farmland price here, you should😂 It will definitely go down(hopefully) in following years but currently it is the most expensive in the globe in average, strangely. Good luck!!
Anyeong, Steven. God be with you and your wife in your big move across the Pacific!
Best wishes Steven. Thank you for letting me into your home and the time spent in TN. Stay blessed🙏🏽
Best of luck! Would love to learn through you into the future.
Wow, so excited. I wish you the best 🌴
I highly doubt you remember me from instagram. It’s Emily. My account is deactivated now, but I had followed you since probably 2017? Watched your whole journey and gained inspiration from you. Unfortunately, I’m in a situation where my dreams are at a standstill at the moment, but my mind is similar where I need change and I need experimentation and exploration. I hope this change is good for the both of you and I wish you well. Off to new adventures. 🎉
God bless you, brother. Wish you all the best.
I would love to go live there for a year. When our family visited there, I took notice that there is not a lot of wasted land there. A lot of the countryside were farms and even a lot of vertical farms in green space near roadways. Good luck.
Good luck, man.
Very cool. Wish you the best.
I did a 12 month stint in Korea. Hated it. Regret ever doing it. Couldn’t imagine living there. Good luck.
Dum decided
Such a cool experience coming up! Best of luck dude!!!
잘가요 🎉 bring me with you 🙂
Congratulations on the new, upcoming adventure!
Coming from an American citizen. Enjoy your time in a country that gives a crap about its people. You won’t have to go broke from medical bills. Hope to see more South Korea and Japan content. Good luck!
Good luck
Safe travels, and looking forward to the next chapter!
I love love love that you interview others bec I agree: ppl doing cool stuff often aren’t also filming it.
Worst time to go imo
Steven I wish you well on your next journey! It was a pleasure to spend time with you on your market farm in lemon grove. You taught me a lot about backyard farming, how to do a lot with a small space, and how to run a market garden and all sorts of neat tool, tips and techniques. It's been an honor to follow your journey. You are a continuing inspiration as I am in year 5 of leasing farm land in El Cajon. It's sad to see you go but happy to see you grow. Wish you well
Steven! I love you and your channel. I’ve been watching you since San Diego when you were proving you could make your own input. I am always cheering you on and so happy you’re alive. You taught me a lot. Plus, I liked when you spoke about your faith because that also taught me some stuff. I’m sad you’re leaving but that’s silly because it’s not like I’m anywhere near you anyway. I hope you continue to Post. I will go watch the video and find out what your longterm news is.
Hope you do well there. Hey listen. Make sure you get out of the city as soon as possible. Things will not be good in the cities in the very near future. I believe this will be a worldwide condition.
Don't do it bro. China is about to roll up Taiwan and that will not leave South Korea in a comfortable position. They are currently being tasked to defend themselves against NK (compared to the US spending 4 billion a year) which they may or may not DO very well. Enabled China makes an enabled North Korea. Get a rifle.
Good luck with the move and beyond .. happy natural farming bro
That's awesome brother! God bless you and your family.❤
Good luck sir! Years ago I found your SoCal chicken coup video and enjoyed how you thought through overlooked issues. Keep that spirit. You have a new adventure ahead, onward and upwards.
Youre not moving, youre transplanting roots to create a more abundant environment for your future! Youre also going to make huge advancements in agriculture there and help the communities you impact! Happy for you and your journey!!!
It's hard to leave your childhood home area and I'm not sure if it's something we should do.
Sometimes life choices does encourage us to live in different areas,
My childhood life was Grandpa Jude homestead since 6 generations, But it's gone and I'm not certain if I should have not stayed in Kentucky.
good luck as family is important
Thanks everyone for the heartwarming comments and encouragement, it's making this transition a lot easier for me. I'm so grateful for all of you!
