First-ever footage of dolphins using sponges as tools to trap mullet — absolutely brilliant. The way they work together to herd the fish is pure intelligence in action!
And this is one reason why dolphins are amongst my favorite animals.
Now I know why dolphins are smart, coz they eat fish 😉
These dolphins have cultural tradition.
I've met many humans in my life who are less intelligent.
Oooh im so so happy to find out blue planet lll is out, can't wait to watch it!
On a prior documentary dolphins learned to swim in large circles around schools of fish in shallow water, beating their flukes to stir up the mud on the bottom. This mud ring would expand inward, giving the fish inside increasingly less room until they started to jump out of the water above the mud ring to escape. But right outside the mud ring were many dolphins, mouths open, and the fish were literally jumping into their mouths. Astounding intelligence and problem solving.
Looks Ai?
The camera work is incredible. The production must have been so happy with the last shot.
Amazing cameras footage
If only they didnt make tuna sandwiches taste so good…ah well!
Amazing God's creation.
This is why wild animals are so dangerous — they live in a kill or be killed world 24/7.
We are pampered softies compared that that.
They would laugh at our stress from a car honking at us, say… remember that next time it happens.
che genio
He is clever than me
Some animals are much clever than some people!
I love the background music
Seems to Ai video
That sponge trick is so clever. Amazing how smart dolphins are!
As always, the camera work is astounding. I can only imagine the hours and hours spent just to get that final shot. Greatly appreciated!!
How on earth did they get that footage ? Incredible
Filming this for the first time ever feels huge — a hunting trick in Shark Bay that stayed hidden from cameras until now is such a gift to finally see. 🐬
His eyes are so bright oh my gosh.
So cool.
Ingenuity Dolphins 🐬 are intelligent
smarter than some of my coworkers
Tierra II wasn't translated into Spanish—that's too bad. Let's see if Tierra III will be kind enough to add a Spanish-language channel.
Coyote Cote endorses this channel.
We can't wait to see all of this on the big screen at Blue Planet III Live in Concert! Coming to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow in May & June 2027. More information can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbWSTAZB6og 🐬
You are better than me
Astonishing, as smart as human hunters of the stone age, if they weren't fish they would have invented the wheel before us
We all know this is A.I. right?
Nice
❤
That's intelligence for me ❤
Dolphin's playing 5-D chess out there.
Trap setting in the animal kingdom just reached a whole new level of sophistication. Respect!
wow
A.I
If other animals set traps they are classed as bad, evil and without morals. But not so the goody, goody dolphin.
