1:25 you played 4 clips of him saying "total victory" and since then you have said "final victory" 5 or 6 times. This is braindead. Final victory / endsieg is a nazi term. Flat out. Its a fucking dogwhistle. I recognize that he is an icc wanted war criminal, and Im furious with the Canadian government for allowing him through our airspace while being a signatory to that warrant. But its still a dogwhistle, and shouldn't be used if the goal is honest discourse. Unless this video is striaght up just controlled opposition, this rhetoric only makes critiques of this nation and its leaders less legitimate.

It's clear that the Israeli strategy in the before times is way different than what this video says. Israel's policy to Gaza was to leave it alone territorially and basically write it off since Israel didn't really want the land and only wanted Hamas to stop firing rockets into Israel. Israel had already withdrawn all settlers and soldiers from Gaza in 2005. It's also probably one of the reasons why October 7 did happen which is Netanyahu's dismissal of Gaza being a serious threat to Israel and prioritization of the West Bank. Hamas really miscalculated their attack as Israel really didn't have plans on occupying Gaza, but their attack gave them a reason to when they had none before.
West Bank is the obvious desire of Israel. West Bank has Jerusalem and all the significant historical territory that Gaza doesn't have. Israel would've liked to slowly absorb the West Bank through encroachment and settlement but October 7th has accelerated efforts.
Southern Lebanon is literally just to prevent any group from firing rockets and missiles into Israel again. Israelis had already intervened in Southern Lebanon once when Palestinian groups were firing rockets into Israel. Hezbollah is just the continuation of the threat. Ideally, the situation would be for Lebanese government to crackdown on Hezbollah since they are Iranian puppets and are dragging the rest of Lebanon into conflict with Israel. However, Lebanon is really incompetent and fear another civil war since the Houthis are connected with Lebanese shias.
Basically, Israel wanted Gaza neutered militarily but didn't care about the territory and Hamas gave them a reason to occupy, has always and still wants the West Bank, and wants Lebanese militant groups to stop firing rockets into Israel.
You’re misrepresenting Gaza’s place in the Palestinian situation. You said Gaza was supposed to be Palestinian territory. The reason it isn’t is because Gaza elected Hamas into power which started to attack Israel.
Also, “final” solution isn’t the correct translation. Total victory is the correct one. I’m Israeli and do not support Netanyahu or his “total victory” stuff, but the West Bank has nothing to do with the total victory.
The total victory is about eliminating Hamas (which, despite what you said, isn’t eliminated yet) and ending Hezbollah’s threat on Israel

This is completely detached from the reality of being an IDF solider, the reservation is the majority of the army and out of that majority most are family men, who are paid less than minimum salary and are unable to feed their kids, the major reason Israel is able to find the IDF is due to selling weapons and the high tech sector, both are extremely sensitive to international relations.
I agree that this is the goal of the right government, which is why it's so important to support the Israeli left who believes in a 2 state solution and returning land back to the Palestinians.
It's important to understand that the more Israel and Israelis get hate we can't run away, we can't fight the government, we can't put them in jail.
Ben gvir, Katz, Netenyahu all belong in prison. They are horrible people and the fact that 50% of Israeli voted for them makes me worried that Israeli is too far gone, but I can't get a Citizenship elsewhere.
I am terrified.
