I can't believe I'm saying this but I kinda favor Rico over Wilder. He's got fast hands and reflexes and fights with natural poise and balance. Guess we'll see if Wilder still has magic in that right hand. Otherwise, can't see him boxing with Rico really.

Why did Wilder take this fight? Why didn't Jai take this fight. Jai fight would have been genuinely interesting and if either guy wins probably good for their career/resume/profile. As for Wilder this doesn't seem like a great fight to take for where he is now. Apart from the fact that he looked good against Usyk so if Wilder beats him he will look good. Though its hard to say, Fury lost to Ngannou and AJ makes quick work of him and those are the ONLY Ngannou datapoints we have. Is it going to be a similar story for Rico? Genuinely don't even know how good the guy is but seems better than Ngannou.
Respect to Rico for giving it ago, but the bronze bomber put him to sleep with a flush connect. But that fight will sell big, because of his performance against Usyk
