A new Fox News poll shows the U.S. Senate race in Maine is competitive, even after a major change on the Democratic side. Troy Jackson, who replaced Graham Platner in July, leads Republican Senator Susan Collins by 2 points, within the poll’s margin of error. Other recent Fox News polling has shown Democrats leading in several key Senate races. In Georgia, Senator Jon Ossoff leads Republican Congressman Mike Collins by 13 points. MS NOW’s Kevin Frey joins Morning Joe to discuss his recent interview with Senator Ossoff, in which they touched on his 2026 Senate campaign, his viral tactics during Oversight hearings, and his possible 2028 ambitions.

Senator Ossoff for president 2028
You still want to trust polls after what happned in Michigan democratic primary and Wisconsin dem governor primary?
Pay zero attention to polls.
he is another gavin newsom..zero chance for being a presidential candidate. AOC2028
who is gonna run then? everyone keep saying they are not interested.
I always liked Sen Sam Nunn. I've seen Ossoff speeches. Georgia deserves another good senator. (Edit: corrected a spelling)
A man that does not want to become president, should become president
We NEED Jon Ossof as a US Senator, he needs to continue his work.
AOC FIRST BEFORE HIM
I feel Jon Ossoff should focus on senate.
Jon Ossoff is extremely impressive. Has future president written all over him and everyone can see it. If not in ‘28, then after.
Good man
This is good to hear that Ossoff will stay in the seat. We need to keep both Georgia Senate seats in the Democrats' hands.
NOOOOO JON PLEASE RUN !!! You’d destroy any MAGAt on the ballot!
Ossoff 2028! He is the best the Dems could run.
Ossoff keep up keep fighting for Georgia and for us also James talarico keep up please vote 🔵🔵🔵🔵
Completely understand why he’s saying that now, he is currently running to retain his Senate seat in Georgia. But Senator, it’s not about what you want, it’s about what the country needs. The country needs voices like yours in the 2028 conversation, and 2032, and 2036. But yes, we all know whoever has the White House come January 2029 has a big pile of MESS to clean up. 🤷♂️
We dont need to him to win, but we need him to run.
He needs to be the spoiler for South Carolina, otherwise Kamala is going to get a ton of early momentum and likely be the candidate again.
This doesn't say anything bad about Democrats this says something bad about Maine. (smh)
Kelly 2028
We need to donate $$ whatever you can…it really matters.
🇺🇸👍
History proves that America will never elect a Jewish president.
Such nonsense..just means now he isnt..Dems r kinda an obsolete party
Ossoff didn't say whether he'd accept the VP spot on a 2028 ticket. But he's probably waiting to see who wins the Governor's race in GA. He's not going to risk letting a Republican fill a vacant Senate seat.
So if Ossoff does not run for president in 2028. That pretty much leaves Harris, Newsom and AOC as the big 3. AOC 2028
Why are you highlighting one Fox News poll and treating it like it's definitive? Ah, Ok, Joe introduced the necessary skepticism at the end.
All these "leading" democrats will lose badly due to how weak they are. Polls are garbage
To bad he don't want to be President, but it show's his Faith is well founded for being a Loyal Candidate!!! 😉 A fruitful MAN!!!
He’s happy to keep destroying Minnesota though.😂
He said "I have zero interest running for president" 3 months ago why report now?
Illegitimate senator says What… 😂😂😂
He doesn’t need to run in 2028, he’s young and can run in the late 2030s having a deep bench is important
Can someone please tell me what a populist is?
