Everyone sounded sick except maybe Reba M. and Carrie U. because everyone was really upset Dolly P. was not present. RIP Dolly P.
Aw, was she sick this night? She sounds sick!
Kelsea you did amazing!!
She did well!
❤ Sweet song!
Thank you, Miss Stella!
Dolly wood have loved all of this
❤❤❤❤
Just further illustrates how no one could hold a candle to Dolly.
Not good.
Was she sick?
Best performance of the whole event ! Good ole East Tennessee Lady! Rest of the night was pathetic!
The audio board tech is a lot to blame on this show. Singer audio levels are buried in the music instruments. In this song the piano was crushing her vocals. Fire the audio guy
Love this, best one of the night for me
Dolly is smiling down at this lovely rendition. ❤
Wow that was embarrassing. Sorry @kelsea ballerini
I heard Zach Top cover this song and it was perfect. It’s a shame he couldn’t have done it.
Very bad performance…. very weak voice.
Dolly was amazing. No one can handle a candle to her when singing her songs.
A few dis comments below⬇ and agree with some (could have used more rehersal) BUT she gives it her all and 'America's Sweetheart' looks gorgeous and glamorous as always in that awesome glittery Dolly-like dress🪩👍👏😍🤩
Nope this was awful too, can't even understand what she's saying
I believe Kacey Musgraves did a great version of this. I don't know why they picked this song for Kelsey.
The modern day version of this song is no caller id
Y’all…this is awful.
I would've loved Lainey singing this. Kelsea is very good but she almost sounds like she has a cold.
An absolute masterpiece of love and reverence. ✨🤍 Kelsea Ballerini
Ehhhh
Great performance
My very first favorite song when my aunt introduced me to country music through Dolly. (And for what its worth, I'd rather listen to hours and hours of Kelsea Ballerini than Carrie Underwood. Skipping her offering…probably overblown and diva-ish. No thanks.)
Its not her, its the song. Someone else needs to be singing it. 🤭
I Loved this performance! her style is different yet meaningful
She’s adorable 🩷
This is not what I call a tribute to Dolly. Sorry.
People, we all know Dolly"s songs are her songs.
There is no artist trying do out do Dolly. They are showing love and respect to their friend who touched their life in some way.
Be respectful and be happy they gave of their time to show love not to be critized.
why are people hating? kelsea did really good for how hard of a song this is!!
Oooh no.
They could have done a lot more with these singers. Put harmony groups together, brought in blue grass… not sure why they slapped this tribute together…
