That guitar exchange between Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley is one of my favorite things about this performance. Paul takes the first solo, then Ace brings his own personality to the guitar. Two very different styles, both unmistakably KISS
This is KIϟϟ in their prime!
Cool Song!!! Great Video!!!
That vintage KISS sound is impossible to fake. The guitars have bite, Paul sounds fantastic, and the whole performance reminds me why Rock And Roll Over is one of my favorite albums from the band.
CUANDO ALGUIEN REACCIONE A ESTE COMENTARIO volvere a escuchar esta gran joya , les mando un super abrazo fraternal desde MEXICO para todo el mundo DIOS los bendiga con alta luz amor y energia por siempre PATITO

Look at the timing: KISS filmed this promo in November 1976, right in the middle of the Rock and Roll Over era. They were building a huge live reputation, but these TV performances helped bring the band into living rooms that might never have seen them onstage. Smart move, and the footage still rocks.
Rock And Roll Over came out in November 1976, just months after Destroyer. KISS were moving fast in those days, releasing another album while their live reputation kept growing.
What I always liked about Kiss was their delicate phrasing, sensitive melodies and their tender approach.
That moment when the song kicks into the heavy part is worth the wait alone. KISS could make a slow intro sound genuinely dangerous.
Weird glitch / fraction missing between 1:09 and 1:10
I Want You is one of the tracks where Paul really leaned into a slower, heavier side of KISS. It’s not trying to be a party song — the whole arrangement leaves room for the riff and his vocal to carry the tension.
That original four-man lineup is the real attraction here. Paul, Gene, Ace and Peter all had completely different personalities, but together they created the KISS sound people still recognize instantly
In the morning, I raise my head and I’m thinking of days gone by and the thing I want out of life is…
Didn’t know this existed
And it was effin awesome!!!!
This is KISS at the point where everything was starting to explode. The makeup, the four original members, the songs, the attitude — 1976 was their moment
I've been obsessed with kiss lately.
Anyone else look at Ace and think of Old Greg?
That Paul and Ace combination was something else. Paul brings the attitude, Ace brings that killer guitar presence, and suddenly you have one of those classic KISS moments.
Kiss
Why is the audio off?
Not technically the best, not the most lyrical, certainly not philosophical, but ladies and gentlemen, The Hottest Band in The World…KISS!! (and yes they are and always will be!) I absolutely love "I want you" tremendous song…
This is amazing
Kiss at the peak of their powers
When kiss ruled the world

What a killer drum set!!
Oh my God, I haven't heard that in ages
Lick it Up Soundtrack Voltron Lions🌐📡💙🙂
The most rockin' KISS song ever🤘
Finally! 😂 It took you 50 years to post it!!!?
I wonder what’s the most appropriate age to start listening to KISS.
I recently started listening to them and I’m close to 50
I knew of KISS but seeing this one on 📺 in concert made me a lifelong fan 🤘🏻
Who is playing the 12 string??
Hitting on ALL cylinders at this point!
Paul Stanley mentioned in Face the Music that I Want You was one of the songs that came out of the Destroyer period, but it ended up on Rock And Roll Over. Both albums came out in 1976, only months apart
tomato
Peter Criss looks like he almost gets burned by the fire during I Want You. His reaction is so genuine that it feels like something went wrong for real, not like a planned part of the performance.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇦🇺
Kiss at its very best.
