  1. I had this done last winter prior to open heart surgery to repair a 5.7 cm ascending aortic aneurysm. My arteries are clear and the surgery was done on May 13, 2026. I turned 72 at the end of June. At no time did I have any symptoms or discomfort.

  2. I had mine done with LAD blockage 90%. In my case, they caught it during an active heart attack. They tried going from arm but spasms were too bad so I screamed. That’s when the doctor changed to groin access. People who can tolerate arm access, can move right away, I had to keep my leg still for 8 hours.

  3. Miracle surgery! 65 yrs old had chest pains! I luckily went to E.R. VA Hospital Gainesville, Fl.The professional Team of Dr's, Nurses, Volunteers and UFL Dr's. Performed Stress Tests, Ultra Sounds and MRI dye tests! The absolute care and professionalism to develop a plan to in plant two stents saved my life! God guided these Amazing Professionals to give me another chance to serving God! It is great to see technology to prolong a life but it is Always God's Plan for your time here! God Bless all the amazing Dr's, Nurses and VA Volunteers who work in these hospitals saving physical Lifes! Thank you Lord! 🇺🇸❤️🙏🏻

  4. I had an angiogram done in 2022 and they inserted three stents to open up blockages identified via the angiogram chest scan. It’s amazing what they can do with this technology.

  7. I refuse to have this done again. They want to give me this first before I get my mitral valve prolapse with severe regurgitation fixed. I told them I’m not having this done again. That dye is too hot. I had this procedure done about 45 years ago and it was horrible. I thought I was burning in hell.

  9. One of the important questions I always ask is, "What is the death rate from this procedure?" It's hard to get a good answer. In the US, they often don't even keep good statistics, so I have to go to foreigh studies. After a quick (and incomplete) literature search, the reported mortality from cardiac catheterization is around 0.05% for diagnostic procedures to 1% or more for therapeutic procedures. For other similar procedures, the mortality can roughly double for every 10 years of age, and increase for pre-existing conditions (which is why you're getting the procedure in the first place). In general, the more experienced the surgeon and hospital, the lower the mortality. (The VA system often has good outcomes.) You have a right to ask (and know) what their mortality is, overall and for people like you.

  10. My Cardiologist Said I Was "Squeaky Clean" In There!🫀 But I Woke Up In The Middle Of It, Saw My Arteries On Screen & Said "Is That ME?"😮….It Was! Very Cool!😁 But If You Wake Up When The Catheter Is Up In Your Artery & Heart😯 – DON'T TALK OR MOVE!!😬😬😬 You Can Die!🤦💀😒

  11. I had this done on me when i was 13 years old. And am i the only one, but it has left me with very sensitive genitals 😔
Sometimes i can't take my orgasm. And i think this procedure caused it. Can i be wrong?
