Legal LOOPHOLES could allow Trump to RESTORE $1.776B fund, IRS immunity

The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to vote on advancing Todd Blanche’s nomination to become Attorney General on a permanent basis. President Trump’s former personal attorney appears to now have the support needed, after he issued two orders late Sunday night rescinding the President’s $1.776 billion dollar so-called anti-weaponization fund, and clarifying that the president’s settlement with the IRS for tax audit immunity for Trump and his family members only applies to claims open at the time of the settlement and does not protect them from future tax filings. But this morning there are major concerns about legal loopholes President Trump could use to restore the so-called ‘anti-weaponization’ fund paid by taxpayers. The Morning Joe panel discusses the massive legal loopholes in the supposed orders Blanche issued over the weekend to get the GOP holdouts onboard.

  1. 405 thousand other people also had their taxes leaked along with trumps. You think if every one of these other people asked for the same deal ,would they get it. If not do you think trump might null and void it knowing that if its good for him why shouldn't it be good for them. Think maybe the american people should be looking into this

  2. I would like to see the independent legal advice on which the Senators based their opinion. On the face of it, they do not look like they are worth the paper they are written on. They must be pressed to make public those legal opinions.

  3. How is this not corruption?? IRS immunity?? No one has never, this is straight up corruption & anyone who respects this is anti American because everyone has to pay taxes, this is illegal

  4. If Trump wants to pay criminals who work for him,let him use his own money . Not taxpayers money. Since he has been involved with money laundering we don't know just how much he truly has. I know that I don't want my taxes to go to hzs criminal minions.

  5. If the Republican Party and The Orange Man would work this hard for the American people as much as they do for themselves, we would be living in the actual golden era they speak of. Nerve can I understand how regular people keep voting for a party that clearly doesn’t care for you or your wellbeing.

  6. Mankind can do and sometimes get away with a lot of evil but they forget we all will give an account for how we lived and no money or social status or corrupt scotus or anything else can save you 🤔 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

  7. Cornyn, and Tillis were saying, lie to me! Just once, please Todd, I want to go to my country club and play golf with my buddies and Republican party and if I don’t pass you through, I will be shunned completely! Give me give me a reason so I can pass you through even though I know you are corrupt, and what you’re doing to the American people is a crime, and it’s the worst thing l could do for our democracy.

  8. To even consider a slush fund for traitors and an IRS free pass is criminal and Blanche should have never even been nominated. For his brazen obstruction of the Epstein Files being released he should have been disqualified long before getting to this point.

  9. So Trump will get both his loyal DOJ political attack dog, AND his criminal slush fund is NOT dead, but remains in play, remaining Epstein files will now be protected from ever being released, and the above-the-law tax protection for Trump family's criminal activities are firmly in place.
Proud day for a spineless congress.

  10. What do you mean "could", Trump and Blanche absolutely will recreate the slush fund as well as the immunity from IRS audits. And the Republicans that believe everything Trump says will confirm his corrupt pick for AG Blanche.

  11. Legacy media has intentionally got this all mixed up. There is no money in the so-called "$1.776B fund for criminals", but legacy media is reporting as if there is. And this is just another "here's how you can do it" tip sheet from legacy media pundits, because it is in the interest of corporate media that Dump get what he wants. So they're always going to advocate for him.

  12. How long will it be before Dump yanks away the victory Cornyn and Tillis think they achieved? There's some chest-beating going on here now that 2 republicans in the senate managed to twist Blanche into a knot. But should he be confirmed, it is going to come back to bite Cornyn and Tillis, because they could have demanded more of Blanche but didn't.

  13. Senators don’t read what they sign. I’ve put up with Tillis for years taking teacher money. I’m glad he’s going but he really could have been more stand-up than the weak male I keep enduring. He’s not smart at all. Tillis was a carpetbagger taking all he could. He SHOULD move to Florida!
