I wont buy lg again the model i bought 3 years ago has a major manufacturer flaw , the pcb burns themselves out it takes on average 3 years for it to happen at 1000+ i expected the tv to last 6-10 years.

In my opinion i guess they should improved something else than increasing the brightness idk if you guys noticed yeah it is brighter than G3 but it's loosing its details did you guys see that we're buying Oled for warm and movie feel pictures not the too brightness tv that looses it's details I'll rather choose G3 Oled or people who are expecting brightness in Oled panel should go for Qled I'm saying this on my imo

im using g3 and i swear i dont use 100-80% brightness generally. In my opinion brightness topic is a little bit exaggerated. By the way my G3 when i watch hdr content and brightness 100% a few hours, this panel getting very hot. Its not true for OLED pixels, temperature increase burn-in risk. I can't think of G4

Real talk the G3 color rendition looks noticeable better than the G4 on bottom. Glad I have the G3!
My 55" G4 was delivered and wall mounted today, the picture is incredible and the HDR makes everything pop. Amazing TV

the g4 model is great, a bit too plastic. But the best one is probably OLED 2024. The 77g3 model performed worse in games than my 77s90c at half the price. It's only the LG G4.
Honestly unless your in the return window, I would say its not worth the upgrade for the cost perspective at least
