Merci pour ce test des firmware de ce petit synthé qui fait de plus en plus envie. Ca devient WTF cette pléthore de firmware open source, on ne sait plus où donner de la tête. Et du coup, ce petit synthé devient de plus en plus tentant. Il fonctionne sur alim ou sur batterie ce petit synthé ?

Hormis le fait que l'on peut l'emporter partout et vraiment difficile de travailler avec son mini clavier, rien de nouveaux au niveau des sons que l'on trouve partout sur des milliers de logiciels..

WTF? Check out Duell dude, it's a two lane synth with multiple engines and various ways to blend/morph the sounds. Very reminiscent of the old HG Fortune VSTs at times, quite intuitive too…

I was going to downvote this video before I realized that the bad and incomprehensible AI voice came from YouTube automatically applying it to the video and not you. The subtitles were much more understandable. Besides, who doesn't like listening to spoken French? This is a good video that compared some FM-1 firmware I had not yet seen.
WTF… Le FMini 1 c'est même que mini-D sur MPC. Du coup j'ai prompté aussi et j'ai un émulateur de la Perkon. Sous forme HTML avec deux ergonomies de tests pour l'instant 😮😅

Thanks for sharing. I like this review and helps me to discern what I need for my own creative flow. I am focused on ambient meditative music and may explore the Obervave next, because of what you shared. I have been exploring the AMB-1 firmware and like this a lot, and have learned a lot from how it works. However, I decided that its scope is limited and harder to tweak beyond a certain range. It is great within what it is meant to do, but only has 8 presets. It creates wonderful textures that unfold in time. But I want a little more creative control in the long run, especially since I blend at least three synth tracks together in generative style. From what I have found, I am also tempted to explore SLOOP next, but like you I am not attracted to a groove box, though everything done with the FM-1 seems unusually good!
i like the information contained in this video but really do yourself a favor and get a better ai narrator i use ai and dont have a problem with it but this shit be soundin like a computer voice from windows 95.
