There's nothing to say sorry about death.
its less about the climate in this case and more about the Geological stability of the mountain itself.
Now Climate change might have had a part of the disaster but this is not the same as the Drought in Europe this summer.
The reality is that similar disasters as this has been happening for millenias with the big diffrence that there was no people there to witness it.
We have to make a diffrence between the diffrent possible ways for Glacial collapses and bedrock breaking off a large mountain.
then we need to come up with adequate warning systems for these types of event cause we currently have no truly functioning system.
There is also a huge need for infrastructure in these poorer nations to be highly developed and secured so that it can survive such massive disasters as this type was.
roads higher up on the slopes built to handle evacuation levels of traffic.
Tunnels far lower inside the groundrock where the sudden waves cant rip it open.
Bridges but much higher and much sturdier.
Houses and important buildings not built close to the rivers in the valleys of Nepal.
Let us hope this will be a waking call for geological secure infrastructure similar to how the Estonia Disaster was for the security of Ro-Ro Ferries and the international Sea Rescue operations.

NEPAL paid the price for someone else mistake. These CO2 emmision counttry should adress their responsibility for the climate change and compensate Nepal with needed fund to establish INfrastructure. The glacier burst site is more than 4000 meters above the sea level,,most of industrial centres n the world are below 200 meters ,so carbon pollution will effect the environment very slowly,, and glacier will melt slowly from all corners,,a sudden collapse is only possible if base of the glacier gets a sudden impact,, and such impact can happen only through a explosion,,
: If china is really innocent,it should allow international inquiry team to investigate the site to get to the facts ,and also to find reasons to prevent such disaster in future,,but I am damn sure they won't allow because they are the real culprits.
