The demon lord is more like a cute temperamental husky lol. The contrast between a hypocritical, "righteous" man vs a genuine, "evil" guy is so beautifully drawn. The ML's mother and subordinates are a hoot. I don't like the weird female follower who targeted the FL out of her own jealousy and thought SML can kill the FL instead of taking punishment for marrying a woman (FL) who joined the demon lord's household. Bunch of hypocritical moralizing p00ps they all are.
I always find immortals hypocritical. Many of them are just as bad as demons but secretly. They talk about following the path of righteousness but then also say to kill one's wife to prove it like I thought you had to be not demon like. Thankfully, these guys aren't as hypocritical and evil as other immortals in other cultivation stories. FL should just make both guys her husband's, co-husbands or a harem. Anyways this is the second version of this story that I watched. The first was in modern time where the ex husband was a rich CEO. This version is much better
