I love Samsung, but man Samsung straight copied Apple new phone lol. Samsung been making fold phones for 7 years now, and suddenly has the exact dimensions of the new Apple Duo phone lol. Also feels Samsung rush this phone, terrible camera and terrible speakers.

Great review! I just can’t get past that crease—it still looks pretty ugly to me. I’m also a little worried about Samsung’s battery safety because of their past battery explosion issues.

How well is it covering the hinge to protect it from dust/particles? I never really saw how well it covers the top/bottom area, which seem to have a gap on those covers. I'm just very concerned about that. "care+" or whatever is fine and all, but eepecially if you travel a lot, you just don't want to deal with something as a creaking hinge and the trouble of running around, sending it in, etc…
This seems to be a hot take and i have absolutely no idea why because to me this shouldnt be a hot take. I actually think people look at the raw specs for the camera and notice its not the best on the market and just automatically assume that means the camera is bad. Any flagship camera (which thats what the camera is its the same exact camera thats on the S26, and S26+) from the last id say 4 years is going to be overkill for your average user. The only thing thats lacking on it is the telophoto lens. Other than that its overkill. Ive had mine for a few weeks and every picture ive taken ive been blown away by because every review i saw on the z fold 8 said the camera is borderline unacceptable. I actually feel like im taking crazy pills because the photos ive taken look great. And lets be real if youre a genuine photophile then you're going to already own actual dedicated cameras already and are not going to be using your smartphone for whatever types of photos you take for your hobby/business. A smartphones cameras job is to be your personal camera for snapping photos of your life. And for that? The z fold 8's camera is overkill just like every flagships camera from the last 4 or 5 years.

I have a magsafe stand similar to yours. But when I use it while in unfolded landscape mode, the phone does not stand evenly. It leans on one side. Does that happen to you also?

I think you’re overstating the need for hinge protection on your case. There’s been numerous reports of magnetic hinge covers causing more issues than expected.

Great review. I have the Benks Air case and it is quite good. I prefer the Popsocket low pro over the Benks over. It just feels more comfortable.
