⛽ HOW MANY FLIGHTS TO REFUEL STARSHIP?
At NASA’s Artemis Acceleration press conference, Jeremy Parsons, NASA’s Artemis program manager, was asked which is closer: the estimate of about 22 refueling flights a NASA safety panel heard, or Elon Musk’s 6 to 8.
Parsons: “We were definitely not tracking as high as 22.” He called Elon’s 6 to 8 “probably more” what SpaceX is planning, and said the propellant transfer demo will show exactly how many are needed.

but did you see our flying car??????
But, what are your plans for getting through the firmament?
Reports are the raptor 3s are falling way short of expectations and have a high failure rate at max thrust so they have to keep them throttled down to the 220-230ton range. If they can’t solve it it’ll take alot of ships to be able to refuel
Got notified 19 hours later, Dang!
what is the source of this clip
I'm on SpaceX's side, but launch cadence, pad, weather, range aborts, orbital mechanics for rendezvous with the depot from TX/FL… Unless they can pack the HELL out of these delivery ships with fuel… sheesh.
It's not like dropping off fuel to your neighbors house, you've got to meet the depot, or ship repeatedly. It's not an easy task.
Atmospheric scientists are concerned about pollution at the upper levels of the atmosphere. Is it possible to have a moratorium on rocket launches for 3 to 5 years so the earth’s atmosphere can recover ? How quickly can a drop in the bucket theory become a liter or two ?
Can’t wait to see one go into the atmosphere if they have a tanker in orbit and can’t transfer, or vent it off and have to have it burn up in re-entry. What a show.
Design a Ship/Booster Heavy to get to orbit with a lot more propellant.
6-8 is still way too many
Who's math should we go with????

It's going to take as many as physics will allow with our current tech.
Bravo,Senhores NASA!☝☝☝👏👏👏👏🌿🌾❤🌹

Hey Felix how's it going? ❤️ And is there going to be another Launch 😊
Is it WAIDAY yet?
Omg first 😱❤️🎉
