Look at that tail go!
Our pup came to us under similar circumstances. We never knew who his owners were as he was just doing what this little girl was doing, wandering the area looking for a family. Our big boy dog is who brought him in initially, and so we called him Buddy. He disappeared for 3 days when the temperature was in the teens. We set out searching. That's when we faced the reality that we had fallen in love with him, no more denial. He finally showed up with heavy gauge hog wire wrapped around his back leg that he had CHEWED through. His leg was black, dead, and had to be amputated. Let me tell you, after that he was OUR DOG FOREVER, and he wasn't cheap! That was 9 yrs ago. Bubs is a senior now and is spoiled rotten, really sickening. He and the pup in this video are exactly where they were meant to be! ❤😊❤

If you ever want to know how a dog is treated just look at their nails. Those previous owners were awful…not just because of the neglect but because they used these people's attachment to hold the dog hostage for $700 before allowing them to adopt. Disgusting people.

Dooney knew his/her time was coming to an end and asked the universe to send a friend to help them through it and Bella answered the call. I'm glad they did this the way they did instead of just keeping her. They did it in a way that the previous owners had no legal recourse at a later time to get her back.

All three dogs we have now are dogs we “commandeered” from some of our not so reliable family members who can’t keep them. One we named “Chico” was going to be a lot bigger and more than they expected. I told them to just bring him on over. One chihuahua was snapping at the kids. Same thing: Bring her on over. The third guy was a little terrier maniac. Named him Rusty.
The previous owners weren’t serious about that dog.🙄 The fact that they were “moving….needed to get situated” but couldn’t look out for their family pet spoke volumes.🙄

We had a neighbor dog, Stella, who came over all the time. You'd have thought she was the queen of England when she arrived. One time she stopped by and I texted her mom to let her know where she was hanging… She freaked out bc apparently someone about three miles away was dog sitting for her, and Stella had just up and left! When they moved away I was heartbroken. I knew her mom neglected her emotionally. I mean…. Anyone who just lets their dog wander the neighborhood without trying to get it home obviously doesn't really "care" about the dog. I'm so happy it worked out peacefully for everyone in this story…. For Bella's sake. God is good. ❤

Aw, the girl next door
Our elderly neighbor had a little terrier that basically .opening with us. Ms Gladys asked us to keep him cause he chose us. We had Petey for over 12 years. He brought us such happiness and we were so lucky to know that beautiful little soul.
