If you have car insurance that needs to cover both car and bike.

Must be tagged.
Must follow all road laws.
NO BIKES ON HIGHWAYS
If you dont like those rules move to smaller city.

I'm legally blind (low vision) I don't have a licence, and I use an ebike to commute to the SunRail.

I've worked as a courier in many different communities in Orlando. These young kids don't understand consequences. I have to be on high alert especially at times when schools let out. They don't obey traffic laws and pull out in front of me all the time.
Don’t blame the tool for human error
For an example, people tried saying guns kill people, but in reality, it takes a human being to pull the trigger to make anything happen , and if you were to hammer a nail into the wall in your swing and missing and hit your thumb, don’t blame the hammer because you are the one who swung, and if I put a E bike out in the street and say go ahead bike, create crashes create chaos. It’s simply not going to do anything because without a operator it’s nothing but a oversize paperweight, the main cause of these crashes are kids being too young to ride these type of butt, especially if you give one to a 12 year-old

They should make all riders do a safety class before using them and possibly a ppl will know what do and not do as well as hearing less and less bout ppl killed or hurt on them this is a good idea as well as a class or something on hand signaling or perhaps blinkers so ppl know what way ones going vs surprise 😊
They should be required to carry insurance at the bare minimum. Both personal, and liability if they hit someone, or damage property. Other than that let them have fun
Students wouldn't need EBikes if Florida government hadn't stripped all their finances away to make kids walk miles upon miles because they have no buses.
