Today’s “sandwich of our history” has a fun name. Well, I gave it a fun name. The PB, B, & J. You know what PB and J stand for but what about the additional B? Given my experience with making a hot dog in support of Hot Dog Safari not too long ago, I wasn’t totally surprised this worked.

  1. I've been avidly enjoying peanut butter and bacon, and peanut butter bacon and jelly sandwiches for a little while. Never really would have expected throwing meat in there to be an idea that works as well as it can.

  2. Just make the best sandwich ever made it's simple. Make bacon make it crispy only let it half dry on the paper towel leave it a little fatty, get some white bread they type that sticks to the top of your mouth when you eat it. One put some peanut butter on both sides of the bread and put the (still warm) bacon in the middle enjoy. If the bacon is hot the peanut butter should melt into it – that's perfection.

  3. THAT is expressly for a child's palate. I don't mind bologna but, have not tried it with peanut butter.
I think the alternate jam suggestions in the comments would like me better than grape or strawberry.
However, the suggestion yesterday of a strawberry jam Croque Madame didn't sound bad, so maybe..?

  4. Hey so I have a sandwich that has not been shown yet, it’s called the 49er, grinder roll with turkey, roasted red peppers, Swiss cheese, bacon (preferably extra salt added), one long piece of romaine lettuce for crunch, and thousand island dressing on both buns, apply thousand island dressing to your liking, I personally like a lot and that’s it, I hope it gets showcased, it’s an amazing sandwich and it’s not a well known combo
