Pharrell and Pusha T: Growing Up, Grindin and Dreaming Big | Vogue

Hip-hop superstars Pharrell Williams and Pusha T sit down together for an in-depth conversation about their shared history, decades of friendship, and creative partnership. The two reflect on growing up together in Virginia, watching MTV and learning from the artists who inspired them, and the early days of their musical careers. Pharrell and Pusha also look back on collaborating on Clipse records, open up about their creative disagreements, and reveal what it’s like getting to work together at 5 a.m. The longtime collaborators also discuss their latest venture, Grindin, and how their shared passion for creativity has carried over into the coffee business.

  1. I’ve always like listening to Pharrell how he speaks so intellectually. His style is as he said it, is that he doesn’t have to copy anyone else, he found his own unique style and I love it🫶🏽
