– Marble tests are back, after months of redesigning and rethinking the machine is finally ready to start the marble testing again, in this first test i am using the snare drum channel and the hihat machine – how many marbles will end up on the floor? Place your bets!!!

Oh my god, okay, it's happening, everybody stay calm!
Your machines are works of art! I know I'm late to this video, but it truly is a wonder to see these things in action. it's great to see clockwork instruments like this still being made and used today.
Awesome. Now we just need more bass.
Coolest one man band ever but it's gonna be tough getting that on your back
Seriously, engineering masterpiece
Godspeed
No AI btw 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Marvelous marbleless!
Hewy how is the og one?
I just discovered this now why isn't this guy one of the most famous men in music this is incredibek
Marble Machine X was already a marvel of engineering! So sad that it never made it to production state!
Cool Beans*
Amazing engineering and construction.
Is there a full version of the music from this video?
That's so amazing 😍 Your are a really genius

Such a beautiful machine!
Truly unbelievable !😊
19th century ingenuity meets modern-day technology
the day to actually here it play for those who have kept hope is gonna be momentous. to see it fully function its gonna be apart of history provided it don't get destroyed.
Hier hätte sogar Leonardo gestaunt.
I have noticed a major issue with the clock escapement marble gates in that the pallet is not making contact with the wheel when the marble is released. This is why it could not handle too much pressure.
Great.
I thought MMX was supposed to play the instruments? Is there any video showing this thing working? Or just perpetual tinkering?
11:00 NOOOOOOOOOO
U R the Rube Goldberg of the Glockenspiel 🎉😂🤣😁 😎✌🏽☮️
I love how you can still hear some of the original song in the new one. I just love when composers do that
An accordion case?? Who do you think you are! Weird Al!?!
Dare I say… aren’t marbles made out of marble? These appear to be ball bearings or pinballs. Otherwise amazing contraption.
This is AI for sure (Amazing Instrument)
Miss this machine!
Watching this in 2026 knowing everything that went on after this, it's baffling the level of unnecessary complexity this machine had on un-critical parts (exuberant show-off marble lifting mechanisms)
Jetsons……
Som3 how we know each other. Live and live. Death is is
Like the taxis dr who! 😊😁😎
Your machine is a time machine
I'll give you an idea in case you're interested: if you design a double-sided lid with screws and a kind of box-like chassis with nice shapes where there's soundproofing material inside, you could get rid of the noise from the balls.
The Viktor Frankenstein of music.
Nice 👍
Even more complex than I'd imagined. This guy is a modern day DaVinci.
Of course the song is a bit simpler than a full album Wintergatan song but I absolutely adore it and is actually the main reason I keep coming back to this video. I really wish Martin will release it one day – or develop it to the artistic standards required 😂
10:49 music starts
I haven't been following lately. I always wondered when you would have to connect an electric motor!
This is AMAZING! How long does it take to design and make and tune this instrument?
yes, but this is all percyssion. the 2000 marble machine was better it had melody and harmony.
is this piwered by electricity?
I am obsessed! Angels make bells 🔔 ring, Yes! Love it!🎉
I may have lost my marbles listening to a masterpiece
Engineering masterpiece
Incredible
This machine is a masterpiece bro. What went wrong?
